Here’s some personal information about me!
I was born in Indiana, but grew up in Mattawan, MI after moving there shortly before first grade. I joined band in late April of my sixth grade year in 2013, but eventually caught up with my classmates, relishing the process of preparation and performance, and have been running with this passion ever since.
After graduating High School in 2019, I enrolled at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. I completed my General Education Associates Degree and transferred to WMU in 2021, and graduated in April 2024!
I’ve been fortunate to have an incredible pre-internship experience at Portage West Middle School with Dennis Kozian, Plainwell Middle and High School with Rene Perrin, David Hepinstall, and Owen Rushford, which thoroughly prepared me to thrive in my role as a student teacher at Rockford Schools with Cullen McCarthy, Brian Phillips, and Mary Claire Reynolds.
